Keep It Simple!
Sometimes planning weekly food can be stressful! Here I have made a quick and easy menu for you to use. I will try use items and meals for more than one day throughout your week. I will also try and focus on healthier options, however I am not a professional. These are just family friendly options I plan feed my family to make my weeks easier.
I try and Plan for 4 meals every week. I typically can throw something together with leftovers or food in the pantry. This keeps my week realistic and my grocery bill down!
Let me know which recipe is your favorite!
Breakfast
Yogurt Parfait
This is one of my favorites because there are so many different combinations. I like to use Greek Vanilla yogurt, however if you are wanting less calories, sugar, and fat content try Plain! INGREDIENTS: ½ cup yogurt, granola, strawberries, cinnamon (optional) DIRECTIONS: Mix half a cup yogurt and top with Granola (Kind is my favorite) and berry of your choice. Add a sprinkle of Cinnamon or drizzle of maple syrup for extra flavor!
Egg Muffins
This is a great prepare a head recipe but can also cook while you are getting ready in the morning. INGREDIENTS: 6 Eggs, ham cut, red bell pepper, salt and pepper to taste. DIRECTIONS:Â Scramble 6 eggs with ham, red bell peppers, salt and pepper. Pour mixture into muffin tin and cook at 350 until eggs are firm. Pop out and enjoy or store in refrigerator for later
Piggies in a Blanket
This is an easy go to at my house. INGREDIENTS: One Pillsbury Original Crescent Dough Sheet and a pack of little smokie sausages. DIRECTIONS: Cut dough into 2-inch rectangles. Roll little smokies into dough and place on greased baking sheet. Cook at 350 degrees until dough is light brown. Enjoy right away or store in fridge for a quick grab and go breakfast or snack.
Lunch
Turkey and Swiss Sandwhich
Nothing beats this classic! Pare with fruit or chips and cut into fun shapes to get your kiddos excited. If your babies are old enough, let them help! This is a fun way for them to learn and gives the picky eater pride in their creation.
Bento Lunch
Use left-over little smokies and pare with fruit, cubed cheese, wheat thins, almonds, and a few chocolate chips for a sweat treat! You can also add cashews for a softer nut choice. Â Â
Tortilla Roll Ups
A variation on the classic Turkey and Cheese! Spread cream cheese on tortilla and layer turkey and cheese choice. I like to add sliced dill pickle to this as well! Roll tortilla and cut into pinwheels. I pare this with carrot sticks and cucumbers
Hawaiian Roll Sliders
This adds a hot lunch to the mix! Spread Mayo on slider and layer turkey and Swiss cheese. Spread butter on top of slider and sprinkle with salt. Place in toaster oven until cheese and butter melt. Pare with carrots or chips for that extra crunch!
Dinner
Steak Quesadillas
This is a VERY easy dinner for busy nights! INGREDIENTS: Cooked Steak (Can replace with chicken or ground meat and be prepared ahead of time), Mexican blend shredded cheese, burrito tortillas, butter. DIRECTIONS: Place butter in pan on medium heat. Place tortilla in butter and begin to layer with cheese and meat choice. Place second tortilla on top. Allow cheese to melt before flipping to brown both sides. Dip in sour cream or ranch dressing!
Pork Chops, Baked Potatoes, and Zucchini Skewers
It is summer time so let’s break out the grill!  There is not recipe for this and very little dishes! Wrap potatoes in foil with butter and kosher salt, season some pork chops (thick cut), and cube zucchini and place on a skewer stick then throw it all on the grill! The potatoes will take longer to cook (about 45-60 minuets) so plan accordingly.
Red Fish on the Half Shell, Zaderian’s Rice, and Salad
My husband loves to fish so this is one we do often in the Stapp house! You can check out the full recipe for the fish HERE. I pare this with Zaderian’s Yellow Rice and a Garden Lime salad kit.
Pulled Chicken Sandwhiches and Kettle Cooked Chips
This is a summer crock pot recipe! You can check out the full recipe HERE! I sub the hamburger buns for Hawaiian rolls so I can have them for both sliders and these delicious sandwiches. You can also prepare extra chicken in the crock pot to use in your Quesadillas rather than using steak. I pair this with Kettle Cooked Chips for the crunch.
